You should
treat the test bench as you would a firearm !
You must comply with the recommendations
and apply the legislation in force concerning firearms
to prevent any accidents which may occur when using
the test bench.
Access to the firing ranges and test bench should
be duly restricted to authorised persons.
Before, during and between shots, a safety manager
should ensure that no-one is in a position to cross
the firing line.
On firing ranges which are not exclusively reserved
for test bench use, an adequate visual and audible
indicator procedure should be envisaged to warn that
a series of shots is imminent or has ended.
At-risk zones inherent in using the test bench must
be made safe.
Bear these recommendations in mind when determining
the coordinates for setting up your standard receiving
stand or your firing cabin.
